First Stitches
Want to take a deep breath and dive in? To set off on the creative journey of sewing? To dig out that sewing machine hiding at the back of Grandma's cupboard? Do you dream of a unique wardrobe made from great fabrics?
The first step is making friends with the sewing machine. Once you're in sync, you can hem a pair of trousers or a skirt (even crop them) or finish the edges of a curtain or tablecloth, so you get a feel for the machine's rhythm with a simple straight stitch.
My cosy studio, in Keleti Károly street, waits for you where —over coffee or tea— the slowing down and good vibes are guaranteed.
What should you bring? The garment to be hemmed, or the fabric waiting to be finished. If you can't find anything like that, just bring yourself and we'll figure out what you can make.
